Mini-reflections on the Sunday scripture readings designed for persons on the run. “Faith Book” is also brief enough to be posted in the Sunday parish bulletins people take home.From today’s Ephesians’ reading:
Brothers and sisters: You were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light, for light produces every kind of goodness and righteousness and truth.
Reflection:
Paul reminds us that Christ does not merely improve our lives; he transforms our very identity. We were not simply “in” darkness – we were darkness itself, shaped by sin and fear. Now, in the Lord, we are light, called to reveal God’s goodness in the world. To live as children of light means letting our daily choices shine with truth, justice, and mercy.
