PRAYER OF PREACHERS

Companion God,

Source of light and love,

You walk with us every day

even in times of darkness and despair.

  Beam your light and wisdom

Into our minds and hearts.

Clear our blurred vision

and lead us into truth.

Spirit of peace and hope,

may Your strength and light

send us forth with deep passion

to Praise, to Bless, to Preach.

Guide our human affairs

to plan for peace,

and not war.

May we go forth

with Your clear call

to do justice, to live compassion,

and to walk humbly with You

our loving, ever-present God.

Sr. Brenda Walsh, Racine Dominican
